Position Outline:

Reporting to and assisting the section Engineer in the daily supervision and monitoring of the project work execution and implementing the entire project as per the client’s requirements and determined objectives.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• To complete the section of works on time and within budget

• To ensure HSE standards are maintained and managed on site at all times

• To prepare a working programme for the section of works and make alterations where necessary

• To prepare and execute a resource plan based on the work programme, considering both human resources and plant resources

• To manage Sub Contractors, communicating the plans and programmes, monitoring productivity and controlling payments

• To monitor progress on site and put in place corrective measures for any possible delays

• To work with the commercial team to monitor costs

• To attend meetings and communicate with all stakeholders including the client, authourities and consultants ensuring all parties are kept updated with progress on site

• To ensure works are completed to the highest quality standards and to the specification on the drawings

• To ensure that the materials are being controlled and ordered in an efficient manner

• To monitor ad hoc construction activities e.g. site establishment, logistics, temportry works, scaffolding and welfare facilities
