Procurement Officer at Tyco Fire & Security UAE LLC

Tyco Fire & Security UAE are looking for a Procurement Officer to join the Contracts Team based in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

Responsibilities include :

* Typing up LPO’s as detailed in the IMR delegated to them

* Checking IMR for discrepancies and reporting to IMR originator

* Ensuring stock being ordered is not available at stores. If available at stores contacting Stores to reserve available materials and arrange delivery of the goods to IMR originator.

* Returning LPO to Procurement Administrator to collect signatures from authorized signatories

* Sending LPO’s to the suppliers along with needed attachments of IMR

* Ensuring orders are acknowledged by supplier, reviewing updated LPO Monitoring Sheet and distributing LPO Monitoring Sheet within the company.

* Sending order acknowledgements to shipping coordinators.

* Updating the originator of the IMR re: changes or amendments related to the order

* Providing needed assistance to Sr. Procurement Officer in carrying out supplier performance measurement through KPI’s.

* Follow up with suppliers on Supplier Corrective Action Requests.

* Liaising with accounts department regarding payment terms/ problems and also for new project numbers.

* Be conversant with the Company and client QHSE policies/ procedures, instructions and ensure that the operatives observe and implement them.

* Be conversant with the Company QHSE policies / procedures, emergency handling procedures, instructions

* Report incidents / near miss and participate in incident / near miss investigation as required.

* Participate in QHSE meetings, trainings programs, as required.

* Assist HSE officer to ensure Health, safety and environmental controls are effective by reporting and apparent non conformance.

* Liaise with the Company Quality & HSE department on all aspects of quality and safety.

* Dealing with material nonconformities ensuring implementation of corrective/ preventive actions by the supplier/ subcontractors against the reported materials nonconformities
